My koliks laughed at me last week when we were discussing about our kid's name. Then , he asked me what is KateLynn's mandarin name ?? i puzzled.. for a moment... hmm...... what's that already ar..... ???? Can't really remember wor.. i guess both me and hubby had decided on a chinese name for her.. but just couldn't remember what is that .. ?!
My kolik said in cantonese " yao moh kao chor?" --> meaning - unbelievable..
I told him " aiaya.. we got problem deciding her mandarin name mah...since she was born.."
That very night when i was at home, i asked my hubby.. "what is katelynn 's mandarin name ?"
He said :" ugm...ugm.. ya hoh.. what is that already ar... ?"
I said :" aiaya i dun care, u faster think back what we discussed few mths back.." --> I know we decided on some names, but just couldn't remember what is that...
After another round of discussion.. alas.. we decided to name her mandarin name as " Khai xin".. ok. i gotta jot it down here.. remind myself.. but.... still~~ this name is subject to changes.. hahaa
Anyone have any good suggestion of chinese name for "TAN KATELYNN" ?? i guess we still can change until she reach primary school.. kekeke.
updates : finally we decided to have her chinese name as " jie leng"

Anyway, I think Khai Xin is nice, but how to put it in chinese words?

The chinse words will be the normal "khai" and the "xin" will be the lee kah yan that "yan" loh.. in cantonese reading...
violet..never mind, we still have times to think abt it .. keke.. she will be going to school only next next year.. so, she doesnt need mandarin name now.. hahaha

we take ur advise as 婕琳. but we use the "jie" as "clean" that one becoz it's easier for her to write during exam,.. thanks for ur info... my hubby thought why i suddenly can come out with such good idea... kekeke.
