We will be having our big "project" in coming september, another 2 mths away.. Aerwen will be going to kindy.. and my hubby cant stop nagging me on this matter.. Why he nag ? He said i have been taking care Aerwen like "holding an egg in my arm"... .refuse to let go.. etc.. he said if i refuse to let go.. she wont be able to stand on her own.. so when the "School day" approaching nearer and nearer, he will nag me more and more.. (should say "remind" me)... like once a day, in the car, on our way home from work, and the few mintues before i go to bed.. and on our way to work, in the car also...( yah.. i have a long winded hubby).. I asked him to stop nagging and may be reduce it to once a week, but he said, he cant becoz i still did not change my "style" eventhough he has been very "hardworking" in reminding me... sien....~~
Of course i know what to do la.. you think i dun want to do meh..? I cant just dump her in the sea the next morning and let her swim all by herself kuah ?? I also did some work to prepare her one.. i adopting "slow and steady" strategy mah..
This is what i did... i will tell her every night, when i came back from work..
Me:" Aerwen, u like school?"
A:" I like school." After she failed to continue in her previous kindy.. i sort of only believe 50% of what she said...never mind.. continue..
Me:" So.. if u like school.. u have to go there alone.. all by urself k.. no mummy..no daddy.. no kakak , no wai po and wai gong.. and no ah mah.. ok , but u will have lots of fren there...." before i continue, she said..
A:" ya.. i play sand, swimming.. play blocks.. coloring.. in school.. got frens.. got teacher.. ok..what else?"... then she continued " got elephant.. got zebra.. got monkey....ok what else ..panda..lion..."..sigh ~~
This is what happened everytime i trying to tell her abt school.. she will be talking abt Zoo pulak...oh..daddy.. i try my best already..

So cute...probably she watched some vcd about animals in the last kindie...that's y she can always recall about animals in the zoo.

wait till u see my hubby , then u know what is "long winded" meant.. haha.. i also dunno why our "role" get the other way round, i think i should be the one that is long winded.
you have to be firm and dun gib in the first day when she cry.. if not, it's hard for u to start again.. like me :(
I think is normal that every mommies will protect their kids like an angel. I am sure I will be like you when Sarah going to school at 3 yrs old.
Aerwen is so cute hor, she thought that kindy is also a zoo? Haha..
