Classes for Image, Impact & influence

Last mth ( July09) , i attended a two days training/workshop By Ms Wendy Lee. ( Since my company is paying for me, and i felt it's a interesting workshop too, so i enrolled with one of my kolik). Ms Wendy is a professional Image Consultant and founder of Chapter One Colour, Style and Image Consultancy... ok dokie.. let's not talk about her only.. let's talk about what is interesting about the course.

For the 2 days course, we learned about what's the impact of our image and how we want ourselves to be perceived.. that sort.. it's interesting becoz we actually were in a group of 5 and most of us dunno each other ( except me and my kolik).. and the trainer ask us to tell each other how we feel about our team member by our dressing that day... it could be.. whether u are competent, creative, warm, easy going....etc... and then.. u will realise how u dress up infact might let ppl have the different impression towards you...

Then the course also touched abt how we originally look like ( our skin tone, hair color etc) and how we should dress up ( color scheme, type of baju) to give us increased self confidence , and add immeasurably to our presentation..(eg. dun wear the same color tone with ur background when u doing presentation.. etc)

For ladies, she even taught us how to make up (trim eye brown, draw eyeliner, eye shadows) and hair styling..

Actually, this 2 days workshop had a slight impact on me !! kekek... the first day after class, (on our way back home), i started to analyse what my hubby was wearing that day !! and tell him this color is not suitable becoz.... bla bla and.. look @ his pants... until he cant tahan..The same night, i got this so called "nightmare" as i kept on thinking what to wear the next day... as the first day already teach us what color we should wear etc... the next day, we just cant go wrong right ? I mean all this while i always have confident in what i am wearing.... but that particular night, my brain just cant stop thinking of .. " my hair is dark color, and my skin tone is.... so, i should wear what color.. but if i wear this color.... etc"....RESULTS... i have puffy eyes the next morning !!

BUT, all together, it's indeed a very interesting workshop as compared to other seminar that i attended which is too technical..
